Shelter and Camp Management
Camp of Hope
Our team has established and manages a 100-tent refugee camp that forms “Camp Hope” for internally displaced persons in need. It is located in Qah bordering the Turkish border. At the moment, 100 families are residing there. Our team is managing the camp with providing basic needs for the refugee families.
Dar al Izzah
In early 2020, millions of people were driven from their homes and forced to take shelter under trees in the bitter cold, using branches and sticks for warmth. Children and women made up 80 per cent of the refugees – they suffered terrible conditions without a shelter and proper heating system to keep them protected from the bitter winter.
We started this housing project with the aim of giving honor (Izzah) to our brothers and sisters who were unjustly displaced from their homes and rendered homeless. So far, we have built 150 brick homes – each home is 32 sq. meters, including two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen.
