There are many individuals in the world who do not have access to the necessities of life that we take for granted. Many grow up in the cycle of poverty without access to possibilities for employment, education, or healthcare makes it difficult to provide for your family. Giving your children the education you never had is challenging.
By contributing to our creative livelihood initiatives, you can help us break the cycle and benefit from this unique projects’ many rewards.
We favour giving individuals the tools they need to assist themselves. We try to provide individuals with access to sustainable means of sustaining themselves and their communities because, motivated by our religion, we believe that all people have a right to the provisions that God has given to them.
Our livelihood programmes are tailored to the particular requirements of the communities we work with and range from giving young people vocational training to giving farming families access to crops and equipment to enable them to sustain their lives and develop.
Our livelihood programmes provide people with the training and the means to sustainably lifting themselves out of poverty. Not only this, but in some regions we also provide direct opportunities of employment. With your help, we can ensure more people are able to work themselves out of poverty and reduce their dependence on charity.

Tanzania being an agriculture-dependent country, many people do better in farming, both crops and animals. In regards to animal farming, we can support a number of families with sheeps or goats, which they can keep for milk, and once the animals grow in number, they can breed and be sold for money which can then support the family to develop themselves further.
They can also benefit from the milk from the goats for domestic use and sell the excess milk to other families and villages. Global Family Aid can also be a well-established partner to buy the sheep and goats they keep, as we use these for aqeeqa programmes or even Qurbani season; hence, people will have a ready and steady means of income. We invest and support back into the communities we serve.
Giving to the establishment of a goat farm will help local people and families have stable incomes and break the cycle of poverty.

Our aim is to train and then give each widow one manual sewing machine, which will cost €…per widow.
Since the economy has been poor, people are always looking for alternative sources of income but even minor jobs are scarce or paying minimal amounts; much less than what’s needed to sustain themselves. Through our programme we aim to empower widows to support themselves.
Sewing is a field that is in the interest of mostly women, teaching them and giving each learner the reward of a machine as a start up capital upon successful completion of our training programme. This really makes a difference, with most targeted women either from female headed households or widows.
With how fast technology is moving, for the purpose of learning they would also need to learn the electric sewing machine by having a good number but for the startup capital they would need the manual ones, which they would use also during the learning period.
We do not believe in simply distributing aid to needy communities. Instead, we invest in futures. We want to give the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people a chance to change their lives for the better.
